Claymore Take Two

I have been commissioned to make another Claymore. This time I am going to fix the HUGE mistakes I made on the last one, such as the scaling error that resulted in it being a freaking 16 " too big.

I got nailed with a flu this weekend. Too sick to do anything on Saturday, I spent a few hours on Sunday and was able to get this much done. If anyone wants to get me something for Christmas a lathe would be nice.

All woodwork is finished. Now starting painting It will take many layers of primer to prep the wood for painting.

I'll make a tutorial on how I made the rings on the handle when I feel better.

The sword is finished. I had to use vinyl for the handle because I was unable to get any leather.

Cool feature The handle will separate to make it less expensive to ship.
